A Letter to Madame

I wrote it in French originally, so it probably sounds clumsy to the English ear: my letter regarding the decision to leave school.

Musical Pens

Some happy, some sad. Some good, some more good. In the happy and good department, we have a new site section, the Music page. It has two track-by-track album reviews and a handful of nice little links; I plan on expanding it to provide comprehensive thoughts and sources for all the music I listen to. I'm not sure what the "guides" section is for, but time may tell. The playlists will be entertaining, as well. I already have a few lined up; I simply have to find a good format for the playlist pages.

In the sad and good department, I wrote what I find a marvelously expressive sketch war tonight. It was born out of a brainstorm I've had raging inside me for some time; speaking in futility to my parents about my motivations, or lack thereof, brought this sketch to the surface. I find it sad and a little scary, but there is a lesson to be learned, and there may yet be beauty in't.

A new sketch war is available. It feels good to write these again.

Nature!

For the creepy, tree-humping Whitman in every one of us, I've posted a new Sketch War.

Stretch

Got a deadline? Feeling like you'll never reach the end of something? Well, maybe what you need is a good old dose of nonsense to enlighten your poor soul.

You can also read the following facts:

It doesn't eat people directly. Instead, it feeds from their screams. Now, they don't have to be screams of fear, but those are the easiest for it to harvest, thanks to its special skill. It'll loch you. What's that? Yes, loch you. It'll make you make no sense. Does an inside-out skull or buttock make no sense? Then he can do it to you. Does a finger with eyelashes make no sense? You'll have twenty of them in no time. When you or your friends scream at the sight, he'll get fat and go away.

And you'll still make no sense.

Do the things I do

Check out the latest Sketch War.

In other news, I have begun typing "Equinox." This step should be complete soon.

Also, "Spikee" is one of Underworld's greatest early works. Spin it some day.

Fading

It was a fun sketch. There's some astronomy/cosmology stuff in there, too.

Sketching

A new page for Sketch Wars. First sketch: puffs.
